Hrithik Roshan has moved to Delhi High Court asking to preserve his personality rights due to rampant AI usage. He filed his petition in Delhi High Court stating that he saw many posts on social media misusing his identity and his photos. Even Akshay Kumar moved to Bombay High Court to preserve his personality rights. 


Celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Kumar Sanu have filed petitions in Court for preserving their personality rights. As the generative AI and deep fake technologies are growing, the celebrities have been asking for stricter laws to address their concern. 


Delhi High Court has directed social media platforms to delete all the fake images generated using AI. Even the usage of images for trolls and fake posters has been prohibited by the Court. Akshay Kumar's petition has come to the bench but the judge did not issue any directive yet. 


Akkineni Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya and Akhil have gone court asking for preservation of their personality rights. In Nag's case, the court has directed all AI images and fake posters to be removed and prohibiting unauthorised usage. Many more celebrities are going to follow the suite, state inside reports.
